Abcalert Neapolitan Mastiffs
    & Tru Blue Bandogs.
For dogs who function longer and better.Where truth does not bend to
                 accomodate fantasy mixed with fiction.
In our many years in this breed, we have bred titled dogs in both work and show as well as many home guardians.

We are one of the few Neapolitan Mastiff kennells with actual experience in protection work, without which knowing the true character of a dog is impossible.

All pups we breed are from fully tested parents, tested for both temperament and genetic health, all dogs have had a full panel of over 40 DNA tests done.

Our temperament tests are done by a well qualified protection trainer, no dog which does not pass is used, we breed toward the most stable, reliable home companion and protector we possibly can, no one who does not test their dogs as rigidly as we do can rightly make claims of having either better than average health or good temperaments. Even we cannot claim to have perfection, health problems still arise,as do unsuitable temperaments, anyone stating otherwise in any breed is either a fool or a liar.

A couple of the dogs who started our lines, Bellamico Brace Warrior on left and our best ever dog, Atakanj Bonaparte, he was a one in a million as far as temperament goes, also a tall athletic dog his first owner used to let him run the river bank for miles as he used to kayak along it, this dog had a great influence on health and agility of our lines.
Warrior had been kennel rering and came to us from the breeder is poor condition and did not seem to know what grass was nor meat, once he learnd to play he did so all his life, cut short at 7 or so years by snake bit, Bony also lived a long life we had sold him on so do not know exactly how long he lived, heard back it was a very long time..
Two of our early bitches Magnufi Bellavia on left, they did us the greatest service ever by selling us the plain little runt of the litter, I was not impressed after paying up front for her and travelling so far to pick her up to find she cam entailed with a contract, we had also asked the kennel to hold her until 12 weeks as we had had Parvo on the place, this they did,, luckily I looked at her vaccination card on the way home, SHE WAS ONE WEEK OVERDUE for her vaccination, that is how much that person cares for her pups!

On right is a daughter of Arlington Enea we called her Wokeye I forget her kennel name now, her father was Bonaparte, she was a mixture of two wonderful dogs and left some great pups.
Another of our early girls below.
Abcalert bitch from our early litters above
Below on left is Phil holding one of our early puppies and to the right is another young bitch, no show type for sure but lived a very long trouble free life, an alert and fit dog always, she also left some great pups to carry on the type of Neapolitsn Mastiff we like.
Murphy at right, died an shown at 18 months, this dog was just beautifull but died an untimely death from snake bite, he did throw some great pups to carry on before he went.
he was a son of Mario and father of Arddhu and is still missed.
His great nature and looks have been carried on in pups sired by Arddhu who also died young, from cancer.

Below on the left is a dog from Dell Nolano lines Bambino came over from WA a tall dog and one of the most athletic Neos we have seen, this dog could turn, so fast and jump so high he would have kept up with other far smaller breeds with ease.
Koby (Anchent Anzuz N Whispers ) at left, his last litter, bar using frozen semen is on the way, Koby has succumbed to a serious infection amd had to be put down, he was otherwise a very fit dog, his tests are all good.
We miss the bifg fella, and probably will take some time to replace him, dogs of his type are getting harder to find as far too many are breeding the shorter legged 'hippo' type, these we do not want and will not breed, it is no use to do the extensive DNA tests we do and breed together dogs with characteristics which denote bad genetics, you must also breed for a fitter type of dog. if you want to avoid the health problems the breed suffers from today.

Below is the lovely blond girl Pink Panther she also left some great pups before retiring
Wooshka as a young dog, long since gone on he was also a son of Mario, can't even find  pic of Mario right now but he was a beautiful dog.

An Abcalert pup on right.
