If you wish to be sure of buying from an ethical breeder, just read on to see how bloody low some will go to get the edge on others.

I had met some people in Brisbane who had bought dogs from me and who seemed very nice folk, (I live in outback Queensland, where a handshake is as good as a deal done)

Steven, who had bought a bitch my son had bred, and later bought Zebbity, and his mate Ian, who was GIVEN a faulty pup, Little Zac, Little Zac had a kinky tail so I would not sell him, though he is a very smart little dog and I loved him, so I would not put him down, I thought to give him to a good home would be best.

So, when Ian offered to do a web site for me I was most grateful and said that Steven could share this site for free, since at that time he seemed so genuine in his wish to breed good Australian Bandogs.

Steven called his kennel Security Bandogs, he had not kept the first bitch, Jet, whom my son had bred, but had placed her with another mate, this mate bred her to Little Zac, I was given a pup from this litter, they all seemed to be quite fit, as indeed the pup I got was, however I later had to put her down, for although she was fit, she threw too many faults in her pups, now Steven also kept a bitch from this litter, AZA, Aza was fit herself, though she was never let off lead when being trained as the trainer did not trust her (Alf from SSS Wacol).

So then they bred her (Aza) to Zebbity, who is Little Zac's full brother, I do not like to breed so close and asked that a good eye be kept on those pups for faults, was told they had none!!

Time went by and people who had bought pups from this and the succeeding litters from these dogs began to get back to me, FAR too many were faulty..

Think that's it?, not bloody half, only a few months after Ian had posted the www.abcalert.com site for me, I changed providers, so needed the email links upgraded, "no worries my friend" said Ian, and he promptly did so, on each of my pages the new email address was posted, it LOOKED right, but not until now, when I have the skills to get in there and edit the old site, did I find out that this low bastard had only made it look right on the web site, when I went in to edit the thing, I find that the hidden links all point to the defunct email address, so no one could get to me by directly emailing me fron ANY page on my site!

Only those who cut and pasted in the address ever got through to me, the rest of course could send a direct email to Security Bandogs or Ian.

This low bunch then started their own breeding circle, directing buyers to their mates, from MY site for which they paid not one bloody cent.

I eventually found out they were doing this as some people who had bought off them told me they had made contact through my site, but STILL I did not know about the sabotaged email links.

Had the bad links been only on one or two pages I might have thought he made a mistake, but not on all pages, not even I, who am a newbie to this art, could make that many mistakes, let alone a man so capable as Ian.

I have already heard from quite a few who have bought from these mongrels and been ignored when they had problems, and would like to hear from any others out there.

Some of them have been advertising their dogs as Australian Bandog Mastiffs, these people started by breeding a bitch from those faulty lines of Stevens to a De Bordeaux.

Steven himself did one such cross with Aza also, the pups looked nice but that litter did not guard as well as Trublues do.

My old abcalert site went down some time ago, as the provider who had been hosting it went broke, had it not been for a GENUINE man in Texas, USA who has one of my dogs, storing it on his computer and emailing it to me,so that I could edit it and put it back on the web, I would never have known just what a low rotten bunch of bastards these creatures are.

I was paying at first $35.00 a month to have that site hosted, letting Steven share it for free, and they did that to me, so just think what they would do to a buyer with one of their faulty dogs.

In spite of this low little act, my dogs have gained World wide recognition, theirs have not, the Bandog world is a small one.

Their so called kennels range from people who live around the suburbs of Brisbane and even as far out as Crows Nest near Toowoomba so be wary where you go to buy a pup.
